About Us

Old Building

Hayes and Harlington Community Centre was originally a building constructed in the early 1940's for the use as a canteen for the Land Army. After the war it was taken over as a Community Centre and remained in use until 1989 when it was demolished to make way for a brand new purpose built Centre.

Current Building

We are a registered charity and fully self-funded. Hayes and Harlington Community Association comprises a Management Committee and a Social Club Committee working side by side. We have 2 paid staff: a Centre Manager and a Finance Officer; All other duties are carried out by volunteers – including our Bar Staff.

We are a member of the Hillingdon Federation of Community Associations - HFCA
